ISN – the new speciality nutrition business specifically focused on servicing the Asian market – will be showcasing AlphaSoy and ProtoCell on their stand at the forthcoming VIV Asia event.
AlphaSoy, a gentle soy protein specifically developed for use in piglet diets, is manufactured by a four-step thermo-mechanical based process with the involvement of enzymic processing aids under strict GMP+ standards. This process has been shown to increase energy digestibility by 6-11% over other soy proteins.
ProtoCell is an alternative protein, carefully engineered from corn-based bioethanol co-product streams, it contains soluble and highly available corn protein together with yeast cells, recovered using an innovative, patented separation process. Manufactured in a controlled environment, ProtoCell comes with the highest quality and traceability standards.
As shown in numerous studies, AlphaSoy and ProtoCell are high quality, low ANF (anti-nutritional factor) protein rich ingredients with additional functional benefits that support the development of healthy, well performing animals. Due to their properties, AlphaSoy and ProtoCell can play a role in antibiotic reduction strategies for young growing animals.
Dr Hagen Schulze, Head of Innovation, Alternative Proteins will be presenting the trial results and benefits of AlphaSoy and ProtoCell at the Antibiotic Reduction Seminar taking place at VIV Asia on Wednesday March 15th at 15.15 hours in room 222.
Alternatively, producers are encouraged to visit the ISN stand (1014, Hall 102) to collect more information on how AlphaSoy and/or ProtoCell can benefit their business.
